Community Club

Our Community Club is normally held on the second Monday of the month in the church hall from 2-3.30pm and aims to provide a varied programme of entertainment, speakers and practical activities for all. With teas/coffees and home baking served in a friendly atmosphere – it is a great way to spend a winters afternoon in the warmth of company and chat.

Advertised on the village noticeboard, Facebook, church webpage and locally it is free of charge and all are very welcome.

Our next Community Club will be on Monday 20th November – please join us for a craft session, (and tea coffee and home baking of course!)

Monday 11th September-
Community Club –
2.00 to 3.30
We were lucky to have Louise Burnet and Rhukelele for our first Monday meeting and of course tea and home baking.

Our May Community Club met on Monday 22nd

Ross Galbraith from our partner charity Glasgow the Caring City chatted informally about the work of the charity, both in Scotland and abroad. We have worked with Ross in the past when we received generous donations of clothing, from the local community, to support ongoing challenging situations in many parts of Eastern Europe.
This was a very interesting chat in a relaxed atmosphere, with a cup of tea/coffee, home baking
